Innovation & Exploration STEM Early Learning Center

At Innovation & Exploration STEM Early Learning Center (IE), our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and loving environment for children as they find and develop their strengths. We want to inspire young children to find the joy of learning through a STEM-based curriculum inside and out of the classrooms.  We aim to provide opportunities that will instill confidence, self-worth, and morals in every child (how to be a good person).IE’s main purpose is to also provide an appropriate curriculum to balance a child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well being.

At its core, STEM Education means educating students in four specific disciplines, namely, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (collectively shortened as STEM). Instead of training students in any individual domain, STEM uses an interdisciplinary and applied approach to better equip students to have a career and consider real-world applications (Myhill, 2020 ).

  • Making accommodations for each child because we believe that children learn in different ways and at a different pace.
  • Providing a parent/teacher partnership to strengthen each child’s growth and development.
  • Embracing and appreciating the richness of diversity, cultural differences, religious backgrounds, uniqueness of each child, and any other preferences.
  • Allowing children to take risks, solve problems and develop resiliency.
