innovation & exploration STEM Early Learning center

At Innovation & Exploration STEM Early Learning Center (IE), our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and loving environment for children as they find and develop their strengths. We want to inspire young children to find the joy of learning through a STEM-based curriculum inside and out of the classrooms.  We aim to provide opportunities that will instill confidence, self-worth, and morals in every child (how to be a good person).IE’s main purpose is to also provide an appropriate curriculum to balance a child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well being.

what is "STEM" education?

At its core, STEM Education means educating students in four specific disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (collectively shortened as STEM). Instead of training students in any individual domain, STEM uses an interdisciplinary and applied approach to equip students better to have a career and consider real-world applications (Myhill, 2020 ).

  • Providing a parent/teacher partnership to strengthen each child’s growth and development.
  • Embracing and appreciating the richness of diversity, cultural differences, religious backgrounds, uniqueness of each child, and any other preferences.
  • Allowing children to take risks, solve problems and develop resiliency.
