About Our Curriculum

At IE, we ensure that each child gets the best learning experience. Along with our STEM curriculum, we also use a Creative Curriculum throughout our center to help enhance learning in other areas of development.  The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive and research–based curriculum that allows exploration and discovery. It also includes developmentally appropriate goals and objectives for children within four main categories of interest: social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language. Along with that, we also provide fun, hands-on activities that allow children to learn through experience, develop creativity, and explore their environment using their senses and imagination. Our curriculum, lessons, and classroom setup are in accordance with the PA Standards for Early Childhood Education and Pennsylvania Common Core Standards in English Language, Arts, and Mathematics for our Pre-K classrooms.
